External Systems and Selftracking

Forecastify's way of utilizing external tools and selftracking is quite sophisticated, allowing you to use any combination of such systems together. You can have multiple Jira instances, a YouTrack and a Jira, etc. Furthermore, you can always add SelfTracking to the mix as well!

Is it possible to use SelfTracking next to External System(s)?​

  • Yes! In fact, this is encouraged.
  • Usually tools like Jira have a rather involved process around creating new projects, so if you simply want to track the work of a handful of people on a single, or only a few tickets, using Forecastify's own system for it is the perfect pick!

What are the limitations of using several external systems and SelfTracking together?​

  • One "targeting" can only refer to a single system
  • So any Milestone or Contract can only target issues from one system at a time
  • This means that Projects in Forecastify can in fact gather data from multiple systems at the same time, provided they are set onto different milestone
